In our day to day life we come across a lot of people facing issues of obesity. Yes, it is one of me rapidly growing health problem of this modern world. Health professionals defines obesity in terms of body mass index (when means dividing your weight in kg by square of me height in meter) and body mass index of more than 30 is considered to be obese or overweight.

Age, unhealthy diets, lack of exercise, hormonal imbalance are me major reasons to get obsessed. It is obvious that people who are obese have a low metabolism and it affects me mental and Physical health as well. A healthy Male needs an average of 2500 Kcal and a female need an average of 2000 Kcal respectively. At times the intakes of calories are more than desired level.

We often see big queues in front of so called junk food centers like KFC, McDonalds, Pizza hut etc.… The amount of fat present in these foods can create a lot of harm issues. Such as high cholesterol & high blood pressure, increased level of blood sugar, respiratory problems & depression as well.

Getting rid of this extra fat is not an easy task in the beginning. It is almost like climbing a big mountain. It is only possible with a lot of will power & good determination.

  • First and foremost need to have a healthy diet, a regular interval of time & intake of 2-3 litters of water/day. Need to add a lot of vegetables & fruits like carrot & cucumbers in my diet.
  • Exercises are equally important as diet should exercise at least 30 minutes/day. Cardio, power yoga & Pilates can be done on a daily basis.
  • It is obvious that we need to reduce our stress levels also meditation & music therapy can relieve the stress level to a certain point.
  • As we all know “health is wealth” so let’s keep this wealth in our hands forever…….
